Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Thomas Michael Stisi Jr., 44, of Kingman Oct. 12 for felony possession of dangerous drugs. Deputies contacted Stisi around 12:55 a.m. during a traffic stop in the area of North Charles Drive and East Diagonal Way. Stisi was allegedly found to be in possession of a plastic bag containing a white crystal substance that field-tested positive for methamphetamine. He was arrested without incident, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.

Mohave County Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of criminal damage at the Mohave County Jail on Oct. 14. Deputies contacted detention officers around 9:48 p.m. regarding a criminal damage incident. The detention officer reported that inmate Steven Leo Briones, 47, of Golden Valley, broke a fire sprinkler inside his cell. Briones allegedly said that he was brought the wrong dinner and the detention officer would not speak with him, so he got mad and threw his shirt against the sprinkler. He was charged with jail destruction/injury to jail, a felony.
