INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE COMES TO KINGMAN
The International Day of Peace is part of the Cultural Peace Initiative (CPI) and sponsored locally by the Southwest Peace Initiative.
At the basis of the day is a "Sustainable peace for a sustainable future." We are talking about throughout the world where festivals, fairs, marches and moments of silence are abundant!
The Unites States spent BILLIONS on useless war just last year. The deaths of innocent civilians and our own military is simply unacceptable. Intelligence makes peace...stupidity and anger make war.
Think of the infrastructure, JOBS and social programs we could create with the TRILLIONS being utilized overseas. America is the top financial donator to the United Nations and as such wars are being fought in our name....for what??? OIL, PRIVATE AMERICAN INDUSTRY THAT SHOULD HAVE STAYED HERE (with jobs) IN AMERICA IN THE FIRST PLACE or just plain old bigotry and hate to anyone who doesn't look and think exactly like we do!
Today is the day that all of us come together in loving peace and hold hands across the world. We come together as one human race in order to keep the peace, protect the earth and to learn to respect one another's cultural rituals and religions.
