Janice L. Gilpin Finn passed away peacefully on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, at Olivia White Hospice House in Flagstaff. Janice was born in Winslow to Sid F. and Ona Jones. She moved to Kingman in 1950 with her husband Bob Gilpin. She married Francis F. (Frank) Finn in 1979.
Janice was preceded in death by both of her husbands; her parents; and her sister, Evelyn L. Peters.
She is survived by her daughter, Michele Bonham (Ray); son, Keith Gilpin (Terri); and stepdaughter, Barbara Conrath. She was known as Grandma or Grandma Janice to her grandchildren, R.P. Bonham (Sue), Ryan Bonham (Cheyenne), Audrey Peterson (Todd) and Brad Justice. She is also survived by six great-grandsons, Brooks and Gage Bonham, Penn and Lane Bonham, and Logan and Tate Peterson. Aunt Jan is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Janice was a loving mother and grandmother to her family. She always had a smile for everyone she would meet. We will miss you Mother, but are happy that you are finally at peace.
A scripture service will be held for Janice at 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 6, at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home, 1701 Sycamore Ave., Kingman. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Mohave Museum of History and Arts, 400 West Beale St., Kingman, AZ 86401.
