KINGMAN - Dr. Lyanna Lafredo will be speaking at Kingman Regional Medical Center's monthly Lunch and Learn on Aug. 21. Her topic will be "Childhood Vaccinations: Making an Informed Decision."
LaFredo specializes in pediatrics. She is an expert in providing preventive care and treating illness and injury in infants, children and adolescents.
Before coming to Kingman, LaFredo practiced in Columbia, S.C. She is skilled in diagnosing and treating complex medical problems and in providing routine preventive care to people up to age 21. She has a special interest in the medical care of infants, beginning with prenatal consultations with expectant mothers. She also excels at treating behavioural problems in children, including those with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and autism.
Lunch and Learn features a different medical professional each month who focuses on important healthcare topics. The seminars are free and held in the Del E. Webb Wellness Center Conference Rooms from noon to 1 p.m.
Participants bring their own lunches and KRMC provides beverages and dessert.
