Gregory O. Duncan passed away at Kingman Regional Medical Center on Monday, Aug. 12, 2013, at the age of 57, after a brief illness.
Greg retired from the Kingman Fire Department after serving the community for 28 years, starting as a fireman/paramedic and holding the position of battalion chief upon his retirement.
Greg is survived by his brother, Terry (Claudia) Duncan of Yellow Springs, Ohio; sisters, Brenda Duncan of Enon, Ohio and Diane Duncan of Springfield, Ohio; nephews, Jeff (Wendy) Duncan of Centerville, Ohio and Travis Duncan of Springfield, Ohio; and great-niece and nephews Ally, Vaughn and Triston. He is also survived by his best friend, Nancy May of Kingman; uncle, Sam Owens of Winslow, Ariz.; aunt, Betty Wallis of Mustang, Okla.; and many cousins in the Kingman, Phoenix and Winslow areas, and in the state of Oklahoma.
Greg was predeceased by his father, Charles, and mother, Georgia.
Greg was a kind and gentle man who was always ready to lend a helping hand.
He loved riding his motorcycle and camping in the beautiful Arizona mountains. He will be missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18, at Lee Williams High School Auditorium courtesy of the Kingman Fire Department.
