In the Nov. 29 Daily Miner, there was a front-page article about the new mobile manufacturing learning lab for students of Mohave Community College. It stated that the new purchase was partially financed to the tune of $31,363 by a grant from the city of Kingman.

Is this the same city that wants to tax property owners because the city is broke? Is this the same city that hasn't given their employees a raise in three years because the city is broke?

Is this the same city that took a $40,000 loss on the golf course last year? The golf course they are forcing us all to pay taxes for when very few of us use it!

No, that couldn't possibly be the same city, as the city of Kingman doesn't have $31,363 to grant anyone. This city is broke!

Besides, the City Council wouldn't grant that much money from a city that is broke and begging the citizens for more taxes without a vote of the citizens would it? No, of course not!
