KINGMAN - Dr. James Gonzales will be speaking at Kingman Regional Medical Center's monthly Lunch & Learn Feb. 20. His topic will be "Complex Hernia Repair."
As a general surgeon, Gonzales is skilled in the surgical treatment of a number of diseases and disorders, including hernias, breast tumors, gallstones, appendicitis, pancreatitis, bowel obstructions, colon inflammation and colon cancer.
Prior to his medical training, Gonzales received a bachelor of science degree in biochemistry from San Jose State University and worked as a physical science researcher for the U.S. Geological Survey in Menlo Park, Calif.
Lunch & Learn features a different medical professional presenter each month and focuses on important healthcare topics. The seminars are free and held in the Del E. Webb Wellness Center Conference Rooms from noon to 1 p.m. Participants bring their own lunches and KRMC provides beverages and dessert.
There is no charge for the program, but seating is limited. The doors will open at 11:30 a.m.
