Reader Letter: Thanks from the Dolan Springs Community Council

Our 2012 Christmas Day Dinner held at the Dolan Springs Community Council Building had a great turnout. We had turkey, ham, and all the trimmings, including lots of home-baked pies.

We would like to extend a special thanks to those who donated goods, in-kind services and/or made cash donations, as follows: The Dolan Springs Sons of the American Legion, American Legion Post No. 88, American Legion Auxiliary, Dolan Springs Veterans of Foreign Wars, AMVETS, Sunflower Concrete and Construction, Mohave Rancho and Lumber, Graves Propane, Kingman Walmart, Dolan Springs St. Vincent de Paul, Latter-day Saints Church, Kids Against Dumb Stuff of Dolan Springs, and Richard and Zerne Ray.

Deliveries of boxed food was transported by the Dolan Springs Senior Transit van, driven by Michelle Jose and assisted by Mike Jose, to the homebound elderly and disabled residents of Dolan Springs.

Chairwoman Barbara Soto and all her volunteers are to be commended for "A Job Well Done," on this 2012 Christmas Dinner for residents of Dolan Springs.
