There's plenty to do in Kingman this Fourth of July:
Mud Mayhem & Tuff Truck races will begin at 4 p.m. at the Mohave County Fairgrounds, Gates open at 2 p.m. and admission is $8 for those 12 years old and older, $5 for ages 6 to 11 and children 5 and younger get in for free.
The sky will light up with a pyrotechnic extravaganza once the sun fully sets at about 9 p.m.
Also at the fairgrounds from 6 p.m. until the fireworks begin are the Family Festival and Fireworks Show.
The Staples parking lot, 3320 Stockton Hill Road, will be the scene of a car show and block party sponsored by Route 66 Wings and Wheels.
The municipal pools downtown on Gold Street and at Centennial Park at 3333 Harrison Street are offering free swimming.
VFW Post 10386, located at 3036 E. John L Ave., will have a flag raising at 10 a.m.
VFW Post 3516, 2826 Wickieup Ave., hosts a food and fun day from noon to 5 p.m.
