CRISLAM - The New Kid in Town

CRISLAM - The New Kid In Town

A few years back, a new movement appeared. Some call it Crislam, a combining of Christianity and Islam. Some great advice would be to avoid it like the plague.

Revelation and many OT books foretell of happenings like this near the end time so it is no surprise. One in four Americans polled even think Obama is the Antichrist. While I see some similarities in the Bible about the Antichrist and Obama himself, I won't go that far - although he certainly has done all he can to set Christianity back, if it is only to ignore it in favor of Islam or force Catholic institutions to pay for abortifacients against their beliefs.

Crislam has apparently appeared under the guise of Christian love and drawing everyone in, but Christians are admonished to go and preach the Gospel to the whole world, then get out of the way so the Holy Spirit can move on the hearts of those receiving the Word. After that, it is up to them and their free will to receive Christ and His atonement for our sins on the cross.

That other religion has no savior and pushes for you sacrificing yourself in place of Jesus doing it for you.

Nowhere are we admonished to hook up with another religion. In fact, over and over the Bible teaches Christianity to be the only true religion (threw this in for the libs) and told "straight is the gate and narrow is the way and few there are that find it".

Pastor Rick Warren of the huge Saddleback Church and author of The Purpose Driven Life has been accused of pushing Crislam. While his statements say no, some of his actions are a bit strange, so strange Dr's Rexella and Jack Van Impe won't appear on the same network with him. For instance, he was picked as the pastor for Obama's First Inauguration and during his bit, he referred to Jesus as Issa, using an Islamic term for Jesus.

Whoa Nellie I yelled at the TV. The Jesus in the Quran is NOT the Jesus of our Holy Bible, the Savior of the World and the Jesus of the Trinity, God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit meaning Jesus is basically God himself. So Rick got an F- that day from many. Me included.

And Rick cavorts around with Muslims, has spoken at their big events, etc. Fine with me. Just don't be insinuating our two religions can meld together and then we can just all get along, except for those darned Quran verses saying to kill all Christians and Jews, hunt them down if they are hiding behind rocks or anywhere else. How about it's OK to beat your wife, kill a muslim woman for dishonoring the family if she is raped, or OK to dump your wife simply because you are sick of her. Speaking of chattel, this is hardly the freedom the Bible offers, but there will be some who will fall for it hook, line and sinker.

And no, the excuse we both have Abraham as our Father doesn't wash. All the prophets in Christendom were stolen by islam, re-arranged and Jesus was made one of them, in a very low level.

Reminds me of the God movie this year produced by Roma Downey and Mark Burnett. When the man playing the devil appeared and resembled Obama, there was an uproar. The real uproar should have been the actual movie, which was so far from truth it was too much to even watch. Other than Jesus dying on the cross, not too much else was very accurate. But Mormon Glenn Beck and know nothing about the Bible O'Reilly wrapped themselves around Roma and Mark, two nice people who are both Catholic and apparently into some revisionist theology. They are also big Obama supporters, having donated to him repeatedly like the Catholic nuns in my family. A free country, they can do that. A free country, I can still criticize both their movie and their taste in POTUS's.

Pastor Hagee from Cornerstone Church in San Antonio is about all anyone would need to keep you in check these days. He's been doing so for dozens of years, one of the biggest Israel supporters out there, going to Israel very frequently. Hagee and Dr. James Kennedy. When all the rest failed, these two never did. Now Dr. Kennedy has gone to be with his Lord of many years.
