KINGMAN - Crews begin the Gordon Drive improvement project today, meaning motorists who use the street can expect roadwork-related minor inconveniences.

The $3.7 million city of Kingman project is under the management of the Arizona Department of Transportation. The work is comprehensive, including new asphalt, new curbs and gutters, driveway improvements and new water and sewer lines, according to ADOT. Also, new signage and lighting will be installed.

Southbound Pinal Street will be closed at its intersection with Gordon Drive today through Thursday. Drivers are asked to use Benton and Roosevelt streets south to Coronado Avenue to access Pinal Street.

Next Monday through March 21, Roosevelt Street at its intersection with Gordon Drive will force southbound traffic to use Pinal or Irving streets.
