Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Lew Harris Julian, 53, of Kingman Saturday on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and possession of narcotics.
Deputies stopped Julian for riding his bicycle after sunset without proper lighting. He reportedly told deputies he was on probation for possession of marijuana and that he was in possession of other illegal substances. Those substances allegedly were marijuana and narcotics, according to deputies. He was taken into custody without incident.
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Kayla Wyant, 21, of Kingman Monday on charges of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, both felonies, and for two misdemeanor warrants issued by Kingman Justice Court for assault and contempt of court.
Wyant was a passenger in a car that was stopped just before midnight due to a broken windshield. A record check revealed the misdemeanor warrants and a subsequent search revealed Wyant had a painkiller and a piece of foil with burnt residue. She was arrested without incident. The driver was given a repair order for the windshield.
