James "Jim" McLain, 68, of Kingman passed away suddenly Tuesday, March 19, 2013.
He was born Feb. 16, 1945, in Chicago, to the late Robert and Charlotte McLain.
Retired in 2008, he was employed for many years by Jewel Food Stores and Winpak in Chicago, and by Kingman Middle School as a groundskeeper.
He relocated from the Chicago area with his wife, Linda McLain (nee Flores, deceased), to Kingman in 2000.
He enjoyed playing pool and cribbage, cooking, hiking, driving his Corvette, and spending time with his family and friends.
James is survived by his three children, Robert Scott McLain, Mark McLain (Anna) and Todd McLain (Mary); three stepchildren, Robert Augustyn (Katie), Ronald Augustyn (Heather), and Tina Anderson (Mike); three siblings, Timothy McLain ("Dallys"), Rev. Michael McLain, and Mary Jane Martin; and 11 grandchildren, Regina, Bridget, Margaret, Nathaniel, Justin, Alexandra, Owen, Samantha, Makayla, Sidney and Frank.
He will be greatly missed by his loving family and dear friends.
His body has been donated for medical research.
