On March 27, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Jack Daniels McEwen, 36, of Kingman on charges of felony possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and a misdemeanor charge of consuming liquor in public. At about 9 a.m. deputies observed McEwen drinking a beer while riding a bicycle on Roosevelt Street in the direction of Devlin Avenue. Deputies stopped him at Devlin and arrested McEwen after ordering him to pour out the beer. A search revealed two bags of pot and a glass pipe with a burnt white residue. He was taken into custody without incident.
