On May 2, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested William Nelson Lewis Jr., 35, of Kingman on a felony charge of possession of a weapon by a prohibited person and misdemeanor charges of assault per domestic violence and disorderly conduct per domestic violence.
At about 5 a.m., deputies responded to a domestic violence call at a residence in the 3900 block of Northfield Avenue.
The 26-year-old alleged victim told deputies she confronted Lewis, her husband, regarding his computer activity. She said Lewis grabbed her by the hair and dragged her into the bedroom before she left the home.
She also told deputies her husband was a convicted felon who had a 12-gauge shotgun inside a rifle case in a closet.
Lewis was taken into custody without incident and booked.
