Savanna Smith, 17, a senior at Kingman High School, was recently chosen as a Student Rotarian by the Kingman Rotary Club. Savanna is the daughter of Carol Smith.
Savanna said she was honored to be chosen and was grateful to be recognized. For her presentation to the Rotary members, she chose to speak on persevering and trying new things.
Savanna's extracurricular activities include: KYC-BUTT secretary/treasurer, National Honor Society member, Renaissance Club A-Team (over 4.0 GPA), S-Club, Drama Club, varsity football manager, varsity wrestling manager, Award for Excellence for community service from Mohave County, and graduating in a white robe (over 3.6 GPA).
Savanna plans to attend Northern Arizona University and participate in their physical therapy program.
She would eventually to get her doctorate in physical therapy and have her own practice.
