KINGMAN - Though the Idaho State Lady Bengals have dropped their first three games on a nine-game road trip, senior Lindsey Reed, a 2010 graduate of Kingman High, was named Bengal of the Week for the week ending Nov. 16.
Reed surpassed 1,000 points and 500 rebounds in her career when ISU (2-3) fell to Illinois-Chicago Nov. 15, 70-62. She became the 17th player in school history to reach the 1,000-point milestone.
Reed is averaging 13.6 points over five games this season, nearly three more than her career average.
She scored a season high 22 in a loss at Utah State.
Reed and the Lady Bengals return to the hardwood Friday at Boise State.
