Dove hunters might need to bring a bigger bag when opening day arrives Monday now that the Arizona Game and Fish Department will allow 15 mourning doves per day. The limit on white-winged doves remains at 10. There are two full weekends in September to go dove hunting and the three-day limit is now 45 birds, of which 30 can be white-winged doves. The four native species of dove in the state, according to Game and Fish, are the mourning, white-winged, Inca and ground doves. Hunters can get their dove license online at www.azgfd.gov/dove.
