Deputies searching for man who grabbed at girl

Juvenile kicked him, allowing sisters to escape

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies seek the public's help in finding a man who reportedly accosted one of two juvenile sisters who were walking to school Monday morning.

The man is described as in his 30s with a thin build, short orange or blond hair and wearing a bright blue or brown jacket, according to sheriff's office spokeswoman Trish Carter.

Carter said the girls were walking on Carver Avenue between Bank and Benton streets when the man grabbed the backpack of the younger sister. Carter said one of the juveniles kicked the man, who fell, and they ran to Cerbat Elementary School on Jagerson Avenue.
