Jingle Bell Run helps homeless youth

KINGMAN - The Third Annual Jingle Bell Run will take place at 8 a.m. Saturday and will feature a 5K Desert Run/Walk to benefit Harbor House, a safe haven for runaway and homeless youth.

The run will start and finish at Kingman Regional Medical Center's Hualapai Mountain Campus, 3801 Santa Rosa in Kingman. The race fee is $30 through Friday and $35 the day of the race. Early packet pick-up takes place from 5-8 p.m. Friday at Kingman Regional Medical Center Wellness Center, 1719 Beverly Ave. in Kingman.

Race day registration is from 6:30-7:30 a.m. Saturday at the KRMC Hualapai Mountain campus. Register in person through Friday at Lowry Family Dentistry, 1730 E. Beverly Ave. in Kingman, or register online at www.active.com. All ages are invited to participate.

Prizes of hand-painted Christmas bulbs will be awarded to the top male and female overall runner, the top master male and female runner (40-plus) and the top three in each age division.
