The Iowa-based musicians played for nearly three hours without a break and then traveled to Las Vegas for a weekend of gigs.

The Cellar Door, 414 E. Beale St., was recently sold by Scott and Nancy Rhoades to Diana Caldon, who has extensive experience as a sales representative for a wine and beer distributor. The Cellar Door features 130 wine labels and 35 beers, along with live music Wednesday through Saturday.

Upcoming events include:

• Jon Casson, contemporary guitar and vocals, 7 p.m. Wednesday;

• Johnny Gowans, contemporary and classic rock, with Kevin Gassman, stand-up comedy, 7 p.m. Thursday;

• Black Lemon, guitars and vocals, contemporary and classic, 7 p.m. Friday;

• Dolce Woodwind Quintet, Christmas music, 6 p.m. Saturday;

•and "Emerald River Band," guitars, flute, drums and vocals, soft rock, 8 p.m. Saturday.
