Warrants

On Feb. 14, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Franky Lee White, 56, of Kingman on a felony warrant issued by Kingman Justice Court for theft of services, trafficking in stolen property and fraudulent schemes.

Deputies contacted White at about 11 p.m. at his home in the 1200 block of Rawhide Drive regarding the warrants and took him into custody without incident.

More warrants

On Feb. 15, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Deedra Marie Lowry, 29, of Kingman on a felony charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and a misdemeanor warrant for failure to pay fines issued by Kingman Justice Court.

Deputies observed Lowry and another person standing in the front yard of a home in the 3600 block of Diagonal Way. Deputies reportedly were aware both Lowry and her companion had active warrants.

Lowry reportedly walked inside when deputies pulled up. They got consent to search and located Lowry in a bedroom, where she was taken into custody without incident. The other person was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant for failure to pay fines issued by Kingman Justice Court.

Marijuana

On Feb. 16, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Shannon Nicole Freeman, 28, of Kingman on felony charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Deputies stopped a reportedly speeding Freeman at about 1:25 p.m. on Hearne Avenue and Bank Street. They allegedly smelled the odor of burnt marijuana and saw a glass pipe with burnt marijuana in plain view.

She was taken into custody without incident.

Gas thefts

On Feb. 16, Kingman Police officers arrested Jose G. Mesa, 39, and Kenneth M. Hanna, 53, both of Kingman, on felony burglary charges and misdemeanor warrants.

Two women were arrested on misdemeanor warrants.

Officers responded to a burglary in progress at a business in the 900 block of Buchanan Street just after 6 a.m.

An employee reported people were stealing fuel out of vehicles parked inside a fenced yard at the business.

Hanna was stopped and taken into custody on two misdemeanor warrants. Evidence in his vehicle allegedly linked him to the theft of gas.

Mesa and a woman, 44, were arrested near the business. A search warrant was served several hours later at Mesa's home, also in the 900 block of Buchanan Street, and another woman, 36, was found hiding in the attic.

Mesa was charged with two counts of burglary and Hanna one, according to police.

All four were eventually taken into custody.

Sniff test failure

On Feb. 17, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Nichole Crystal Burch, 31, and Michael James Gordus, 53, of Kingman on two felony counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Deputies stopped the pair in the 2800 block of Northern Avenue at about 7:35 a.m.

For unexplained reasons, deputies requested a K9 unit to respond. Raidin reportedly alerted to the presence of drugs and a search of the vehicle allegedly revealed a pouch that contained syringes, a spoon with residue inside a plastic bag with four more small plastic bags and cotton swabs.

Burch and Gordus were taken into custody without incident.

Pills in jail

On Feb. 18, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies charged Steven Dewayne Rubash, 34, of Kingman with promoting prison contraband, a felony.

A detention officer at the Mohave County jail reportedly told deputies he entered Rubash's cell on the booking floor and observed a plastic bag containing four pills on the floor. The pills were not identified.

Stolen jewelry

On Feb. 21, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Lee Anne Michelle Gillian, 47, of Kingman on four counts of trafficking in stolen property and theft, felonies.

Deputies responded to a theft report at a residence in the 3000 block of N. Leisure Lane at about 11:10 a.m.

The alleged victim, a 65-year-old woman, reportedly told deputies that Gillian, her roommate, stole and pawned some of her jewelry.

Gillian reportedly admitted to the charges.

She was taken into custody without incident.

Family feud

On Feb. 21, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Wesley William Garai, 26, and Loan Lee Garai, 56, both of Kingman.

Wesley Garai was charged with felony aggravated domestic violence and Joan Garai was arrested with misdemeanor disorderly conduct by domestic violence and assault by domestic violence.

Deputies responded to the physical altercation call between a mother and son at a home in the 4400 block of Skylark Road.

Joan Garai told deputies she and Wesley Garai were "arguing and yelling at one another." The argument escalated when Wesley Garai allegedly threw a sandwich at his mother, as well as a broom, before he left the home and drove away.

Deputies reportedly observed "food residue on Joan's shirt." A broken broom lay on the ground.

Deputies pulled over Wesley Garai a short time later. He told deputies that Joan Garai hit him with the broom.

Both mother and son were taken into custody without incident.

Fugitive flash

On Feb. 25, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Sean Michael Cleary Hoover, 29, of Kingman on a felony parole violation warrant issued by the Arizona Department of Corrections.

Deputies on patrol in the area of Carver Avenue and Roosevelt Street reportedly observed Hoover, who was carrying a flashlight, look into vehicles at about 1:30 a.m.

A records check revealed the warrant and he was taken into custody without incident.

Drug booking

On Feb. 23, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies charged an inmate who was being booked on unrelated charges with possession of dangerous drugs, a felony.

Detention officers reportedly found methamphetamine in the purse of Zulma Susana Magos-Eulloqui, 25, of Bullhead City.
