Robert "Bob" Ernest Patterson, 53, of Kingman passed away peacefully on Friday, Jan. 24, 2014, at Kingman Regional Medical Center. Bob was a good man, a great father and an adoring grandfather.
Born March 29, 1960, in Knoxville, Tenn., to John and Barbara Patterson, he lived most of his life in California.
Bob was a handyman in all aspects and loved working with his hands and on new projects. He was a maintenance mechanic, worked with computers, refurbished homes and enjoyed construction with his boys.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Patricia. They were happily married for 35 years. He was very proud of his three sons, Chris, Jon (Summer) of Kingman and Robert "Bobby" (Marissa), currently serving in the U.S. Air Force, and 10 grandchildren. He is also survived by his three sisters, Debbie Thomas, Pamela Hiza, Kimberly Phillips; brother, Jeffrey Patterson; and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other friends.
Bob was happiest surrounded by loved ones. He was the glue that held the family together. A man of many skills, Bob enjoyed fishing, bowling, telling stories, playing guitar, singing, riding motorcycles and was an all-around family man.
A celebration of Bob's life will take place from 1-5 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, at the American Legion, 225 Oak St. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Bob's name at the National Bank of Arizona in Kingman.
