KINGMAN - The Kingman woman arrested June 19 and charged with child abuse and drug possession was indicted Thursday.

Kristen Suzanne Plank, 38, was arrested after deputies responded to her home in the 3100 block of Hearne Avenue regarding an alleged code enforcement violation.

Mohave County Sheriff's deputies took her into custody after a record check revealed a warrant was out for her arrest.

Two of Plank's children, 5 and 6 years old, were in the home. Deputies said the home was "in shambles" and Child Safety and Family Services was called to the scene to take the children.

Plank reportedly told deputies there was marijuana in the home, but they allegedly found pot, methamphetamine and a number of glass pipes used to ingest the drugs - and many of those items were allegedly within the children's reach.

She faces two felony counts of child abuse by domestic violence, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia (methamphetamine), possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
