KINGMAN - The CAM Committee and Kingman Regional Medical Center Foundation's Third Annual CAM BAM 5K Obstacle Event was held at Mohave Community College Saturday.
The 5K obstacle course featured mud bogs, climbing challenges and other obstacles. There were races for both adults and children.
The goal of the event is to raise funds to help provide financial support for individuals seeking Complimentary Alternative Medicine (CAM) health care, which includes chiropractic, acupuncture, hypnotherapy, massage therapy and other alternatives for those who cannot afford it.
There were 125 registered participants this year, with 70 businesses that provided donations or labor.
Frontier Communications, City Towing and Freiday Construction were especially instrumental in making the event a reality.
