KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's detectives seek the public's help in apprehending a man who robbed a Gas N Grub convenience store on Northern Avenue and Benton Street early Sunday morning.

Sheriff's office spokeswoman Trish Carter said the man entered the business at about 6:25 a.m. and told the clerk to give him money and nobody would get hurt.

Carter said the man did not show he had a weapon, but the clerk thought he did. He was wearing a bandana with a plastic bag on his head and material covering his face. He also covered his arms with plastic bags.

The man left with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to Carter.

He is described as a white male in his late 20s to early 30s, with a husky build, blue eyes, blond hair and a long goatee.

Carter said the man walked with a noticeable limp.

Kingman Police and a helicopter crew with the Arizona Department of Public Safety helped search for the man with no success. He was last seen running east in an alleyway between Neal and Butler avenues.

Carter said the suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
