The Kingman High Bulldogs football team listens to direction given by KHS assistant coach Greg Tonjes during Tuesday's 7-on-7 competition at Mohave High School in Bullhead City. Kingman Academy and River Valley were also involved as the teams utilize the summer months to prepare for the upcoming season. Tonjes said Tuesday's play "was very physical in 112-degree heat. We had a lot of grouchy football players." KHS hosts a 7-on-7 at 6 p.m. Tuesday on its practice field beyond the stadium. Needles, Calif., Kingman Academy, Lee Williams and River Valley are scheduled to play with another team yet to be determined.
