Two firefighters wearing hazardous material suits and self-contained breathing apparatuses exit the building used to conduct the HAZMAT refresher training at Kingman Fire Department Station No. 2. Forty firefighters from Northern Arizona Consolidated Fire District, Golden Valley Fire District, Kingman Fire Department and Lake Havasu City Fire Department took part in the annual three-day HAZMAT refresher as part of their continued education training. Part of the refresher course included donning HAZMAT suits, SBAs and using chlorine A&B kits to detect "over packing," which is checking 55-gallon hazardous material barrels for leaks.
