Boulder City burglar
On April 23, Kingman Police detectives arrested Wade Alden Anderson, 30, of Kingman on felony charges of trafficking in stolen property and theft. Police in Boulder City, Nev., advised suspects in a burglary were believed to live in Kingman. Detectives discovered Anderson allegedly pawned some of the items that were reported stolen in the Boulder City burglary. The obtained a warrant and searched his home in the 3800 block of Northfield Avenue and took Anderson into custody without incident. The property was returned to the owner.
Black tar heroin
On April 24, Kingman Police officers arrested Ary Edlin Rivera, 25, of Kingman on felony charges of promoting prison contraband, possession of narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia and a misdemeanor charge of shoplifting. Officers responded to a store in the 3300 block of Stockton Hill Road regarding a shoplifter. Rivera, the alleged shoplifter, was taken into custody. She reportedly admitted her involvement and a search revealed she allegedly possessed methamphetamine and the associated paraphernalia. A "useable amount" of black tar heroin was allegedly discovered during the booking process. A man who was with Rivera was arrested on a charge of misdemeanor shoplifting.
On April 27, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Brett James Pinnell, 20, of Kingman, on a felony parole violation warrant issued by the Arizona Department of Corrections and a misdemeanor failure to pay fines warrant issued by Kingman Justice Court. Deputies pulled over Pinnell after he allegedly ran a stop sign while riding his bicycle in the area of Shaeffer Avenue and Tommie Drive at about 8:30 p.m. A records check revealed the warrants and he was taken into custody without incident.
On April 28, Kingman Police officers arrested Julie Lynnelle Feller, 37, of Kingman on a felony charge of aggravated DUI and two misdemeanor charges of child neglect. Officers responded to a store in the 3900 block of Stockton Hill Road regarding two children, ages 5 and 11, who were left alone. The investigation determined that Feller drove three of her children - including a 16-year-old - to the grocery store sometime after 10 a.m.
Feller apparently thought the younger children were with the teenager when they were actually in the store's restroom. The teenager left the store with friends and the mother drove away. When she returned, officers determined Feller was under the influence and that she drove in that condition with her children in the car. She reportedly admitted her involvement. The children were placed in the custody of relatives.
On April 27, Kingman Police officers arrested Donn Whatoname, 54, of Peach Springs on a felony aggravated DUI warrant issued by Kingman Justice Court. Officers responded to a disturbance at a motel in the 1900 block of Andy Devine Avenue just after 3 a.m. A records check revealed the warrant and Whatoname was taken into custody without incident. Two other men were trespassed from the motel.
On May 1, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Alexandria Dominque Bruno, 26, and Kelly Janette Cook, 31, both of Kingman. Bruno was arrested on a fugitive from justice felony warrant issued out of Florida, and a contempt of court misdemeanor warrant issued by Kingman Justice Court, according to the sheriff's office. Cook was arrested on a fugitive from justice felony warrant issued out of Nevada and a failure to pay fines misdemeanor warrant issued by Kingman Justice Court, according to the sheriff's office. The arrests occurred at a home in the 900 block of E. Mary Lynn Lane at about 10 a.m. Thursday, where deputies responded in search of Bruno after learning of her felony warrant, according to the sheriff's office.
Upon arrival, deputies were also in contact with Cook, who was arrested after a records check showed she too had outstanding warrants, according to the sheriff's office. Cook and Bruno were taken to the Mohave County Jail without incident, according to the sheriff's office.
