Run for the Wall participants looking for a big crowd

KINGMAN - Hundreds of military veterans will arrive at about 1 p.m. Wednesday at Station 66, located at the corner of Andy Devine and Thompson avenues, to gas up as part of the Run For the Wall Midway Route from California to the Vietnam Veterans and World War II memorials in Washington, D.C.

The group, which is honoring POW/MIAs and veterans with the event, will visit Mother Road Harley Davidson for lunch.

Run For the Wall wants supporters with flags, signs and banners lined up on both sides of Andy Devine Avenue from I-40 to Airway Avenue. Cash donations are needed to help fund the lunch.

For more information, call Rachel Duhaime, coordinator for the Run For the Wall Midway Route, at (928) 530-0670.
