KINGMAN - The annual KRMC Kids' Day Health & Safety Fair is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the Medical Professional Center.
The event, with 50-plus organization booths and opportunities for learning and fun for children and parents, is sponsored by Deana Nelson State Farm Insurance.
A car seat safety check will be provided by the Mohave County Health Department. Kids will be able to get their height and weight measured, and immunizations brought up-to-date. Parents should bring shot records and insurance cards.
Volunteers from Arizona Game & Fish will teach the kids about respecting nature and wildlife, the KUSD Little Explorer's Program will be in attendance, and there will be opportunities to obtain information on summer programs for kids through Kingman Parks and Rec. U.S. First Robotics will also give demonstrations in the parking lot.
The fair will include vehicles from Kingman Police Department, UniSource, Kingman Fire Department and helicopters from the Department of Public Safety and Guardian Air. Kids will be able to enjoy a bounce house from Cosmic Bounce House, crafts, and games.
In addition, the Kingman Freemason's Child Identification Program will be on site to provide free identification kits.
