Shoplifting suspect had heroin, Kingman Police say

On Oct. 24, Kingman Police officers arrested Gregory Wayne Rodgers, 26, of Kingman on felony charges of possession of dangerous drugs, possession of narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor charge of shoplifting and two misdemeanor contempt of court warrants issued by Kingman Municipal Court.

Police responded to the Walmart parking lot on Stockton Hill Road regarding an alleged shoplifter, identified as Rodgers.

During a search, police allegedly found Rodgers possessed heroin, methamphetamine and paraphernalia.

Rodgers was taken into custody without incident.

Meth, warrants

On Oct. 29, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Christopher Shawn Lenzi, 21, of Kingman on felony charges of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, along with three misdemeanor warrants issued by three separate courts: a probation violation warrant issued by Greenlee County and failure to pay fines warrants issued by Kingman and Lake Havasu City justice courts.

Deputies contacted Lenzi at a traffic stop in the area of Eagle Drive and Canary Lane at about 1:20 p.m.

A record check revealed the warrants and Lenzi was taken into custody. A search allegedly revealed he was in possession of two plastic bags containing methamphetamine.

Wanted man

On Oct. 26, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Joseph Eric Lugo, 27, of Kingman on a felony failure to appear warrant issued out of Nye County, Nev.

Deputies contacted Lugo in the area of Northern Avenue and Lomita Street at about 10:10 a.m. A record check revealed the warrant and he was taken into custody without incident.

Meth, weapons

On Oct. 28, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Jahn Khristopher Johns, 21, of Kingman on felony charges of possession of a deadly weapon by prohibited person, possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, along with three contempt of court warrants issued by Kingman Municipal Court.

Deputies responded to a suspicious incident in the area of Sierra Vista Avenue and Stardust Street at about 4:40 a.m.

Johns was allegedly roaming a property in the area and was held by the property owner. A record check revealed the warrants and a search allegedly revealed he was in possession of a pair of knives and a syringe containing methamphetamine. A record check revealed Johns is a convicted felon. He was taken into custody without incident.

Meth in jail

On Oct. 30, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies charged Jessica Ann Castellejo, 30, of Lake Havasu City with possession of dangerous drugs and taking prohibited articles into a jail, both felonies.

Deputies responded to the Mohave County Jail in Kingman after detention officers allegedly found methamphetamine on Castellejo during the booking process.

She was arrested in Lake Havasu City on theft and fraud charges.
