KINGMAN - If motorists think traffic is bad on Stockton Hill Road on a normal day, wait until Thursday and Friday when the city of Kingman installs utilities at Stockton Hill Road and Beverly Avenue.
Speeds on Stockton Hill will be reduced to 15 mph in both directions and intermittent stoppages can be expected for motorists traveling north and south.
According to city Engineer Greg Hardy, access to businesses on Beverly Avenue - east and west of Stockton Hill Road - could be impacted while the work is performed from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days.
Alternative routes should be chosen. Any questions should be directed to the city's Engineering Office at (928) 753-8122.
