KINGMAN - Elizabeth Angle, 17, was selected as a Student Rotarian by the Kingman Rotary Club. She is the daughter of Cliff and Stephanie Angle.

Elizabeth was honored to be selected as a Student Rotarian from Kingman High School and thanked the Kingman Rotary Club for celebrating her academic, athletic and leadership achievements with her and her parents.

Her presentation to the Rotary Club will focus on the aspects of humility and confidence that shape who we are in life and what we achieve.

Her extracurricular activities include JV volleyball, where she was the team captain; track and field; JV and varsity soccer, where she was also the team captain; Math Student of the Year for Algebra II as a freshman and once again for geometry in her sophomore year; and the National Honor Society, Link Leaders, Student Council representative and committee chairperson, and Health Occupation Students of America.

She is also a KRMC student extern CNA for an OB/GYN and a referee for the Northern Arizona Youth Soccer League, where she was named Youth Referee of the Year.

Elizabeth's hobbies include art, cooking, reading and music - specifically playing piano and guitar. She has been accepted to several universities both in and out of state and plans on attending Grand Canyon University in the fall of 2015 to major in nursing and pre-med. Her plan is to pursue a career in the field of obstetrics and gynecology.
