Joseph B. Carroll, 34, of Kingman, was slightly injured in a one-vehicle accident about 5 a.m. Friday in front of Diamond Brothers Jewelers. Kingman Police said speed was a contributing factor in the accident, where Carroll's car - which was northbound on Stockton Hill Road - went airborne several times before landing inches away from the new business sign at the intersection of the 2700 block of Stockton Hill Road and Atlantic Avenue. Before the car stopped it flattened a street sign and a stop sign and gouged the landscaping. Police said Carroll was cited for having no driver's license and for failure to control his vehicle's speed. Carroll, who was not impaired by drugs or alcohol, was treated at Kingman Regional Medical Center.
