Trash fire spreads to house, vehicle

KINGMAN - A fire that began in a trash pile burned a home and a motor home in northern Kingman Monday night.

Three engine companies from Northern Arizona Consolidated Fire District responded to the twin fires in the 3600 block of Hearne Avenue at about 8 p.m.

Chief Patrick Moore said a pile of trash that was situated between the motor home and a singlewide mobile home caught fire and spread.

Moore said firefighters quickly brought the fires under control. The cause in under investigation and a damage estimate is yet to be determined.
