Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 765 held its annual "Young Eagles" Flight Rally at the Kingman Airport earlier this month. Kids ages 8-17 could fly in an aircraft for free thanks to EAA member volunteers. The EAA partners with the Laughlin-Bullhead International Airport for the event. Eight different aircraft were available, including three experimental planes and five certified (manufactured) craft. There will be another, similar event in Bullhead City in March. Visit www.eaa765.org for more information, or call Dave Amspoker at (928) 757-7742. Here, pilot Al Lindquist prepares for takeoff in his Zodiac 601XL with Alexander Jimenez, 12.
