MaryAnn Wissinger

MaryAnn Wissinger (Sundberg) left this world on Sept. 22, 2014, to live in eternity with her Lord and family members who went before her, which includes her mom, dad and her son Lloyd. She left this world with family by her side, at home, after a long struggle with Alzhiemer's.

MaryAnn was loved by all who met her and always had a smile and kind words to say. She will be truly missed by her family and friends.

She was born in Tacoma, Wash., on Sept. 29, 1930, to Harry and Emma Sundberg. She went to Edgemont grade school and graduated from Fife High School in 1948. It was in high school where she met the love of her life, LeRoy Wissinger. She attended one year in accounting at the Tacoma Business School and took her first job with the Tacoma News Tribune.

MaryAnn and LeRoy were married on April 20, 1951,on Treasure Island, Calif., while LeRoy was in the Navy.

MaryAnn and her husband have been residents of Kingman since 1976. They moved to Lake Havasu City in 1969 from Ferndale, Wash. They opened Havasu Plastics, where they enjoyed working together and MaryAnn took care of the books. In 1976, they moved to Kingman. They eventually opened Eagle Realty where LeRoy was broker and MaryAnn was the executive accountant. She always enjoyed being a part of everything that LeRoy was involved in.

She loved to sing and dance. She loved her family and was always accepting new children into her family. She was called Mom by many and was always available for good advice when anyone was having trouble. She loved the Lord and that came through to all she met. She was a member of the The Church of the Nazarene, where she loved being a part of the choir.

She leaves behind her high school sweetheart and loving husband of 63 years, LeRoy; brother Harry Sundberg (Merle) of Seattle, Wash.; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Don and Jeannie Wissinger of Nalcrest Fla.; two children, Arlene Rush of Kingman and Wayne Wissinger of Kingman; six grandchildren, Chris Schuetze (Stacy) of Prairie City, Ore., Wendy Schuetze of Kingman, Kelly Easter of Kingman, Joshua Wissinger (Kaydee) of Kingman, Nathan Wissinger of Kingman and Sam Wissinger of Phoenix; and seven great-grandchildren, Alexis, Ivy and Madison Schuetze of Turner, Ore., Alyssa and Krista Schuetze-Stanley of Lebanon, Ore., and Isabella and Sydney Schuetze of Bend, Ore.

There will be a celebration of life at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, at Church Of The Nazarene, 4715 Stockton Hill Road in Kingman.
