On Nov. 28, Kingman Police arrested Phyllis Jean Beecher, 42, of Kingman on a felony charge of motor vehicle theft.
Police responded to the theft report in the 1000 block of Beverly Avenue. Beecher and her alleged victim are acquaintances.
Police arrested Beecher at her home in the 3500 block of Cardinal Lane at about 6:45 p.m. and recovered the vehicle. Beecher allegedly admitted she took the car and she was taken into custody without incident.
On Nov. 27, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Michael Steven Brown, 44, and a 17-year-old boy, both of Kingman. Brown was charged with felony aggravated harassment by domestic violence. The teenager was charged with felony burglary and misdemeanor criminal damage.
Deputies responded to a burglary at a home in the 3800 block of Northfield Avenue at about 1:40 p.m., in which the suspects had fled.
The caller told deputies his father owns the home and rents out the property. The caller also said the home has been burglarized a number of times. He said he saw two men at the back door, and that the younger one reached through a broken window to open the door.
Deputies located Brown and the boy nearby and drove them to the home, where the caller allegedly identified them as the suspects. Brown said he simply stopped by to visit his girlfriend. A record check revealed the woman has an order of protection against him.
The woman, 29, arrived at the home and told deputies Brown had been harassing her for a number of days and the incidents were reported to deputies.
He was taken into custody without incident. The boy was referred to Mohave County Juvenile Probation.
On Nov. 27, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Vanessa Marie Ellis, 30, of Kingman on a felony failure to appear warrant issued by Mohave County Superior Court and a misdemeanor failure to comply warrant issued by Lake Havasu City Justice Court.
Deputies responded to a home in the 1900 block of Suffock Avenue at about 9 a.m. The caller said Ellis hit his wife and kicked his dog. Ellis appeared to be intoxicated. She was agitated and uncooperative. A record check revealed the warrants and she was taken into custody, but was not charged in the alleged assault.
On Nov. 29, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Rocky Wayne Seibert, 45, of Kingman, on a felony charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and a misdemeanor failure to pay fines warrant issued by Kingman Justice Court.
Deputies responded to a personal damage report at a home in the 3000 block of Suffock Avenue. The caller said Seibert, his friend, backed his truck into the man's gate and then fled. A record check revealed Seibert had a warrant. They located his green Dodge truck parked in front of a home in the 1700 block of Potter Avenue. Seibert became irate but eventually opened the door and was taken into custody.
A search allegedly revealed he possessed a glass pipe with residue.
On Nov. 30, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Jessica Dawn Geesey, 19, of Kingman on a felony charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Deputies contacted Geesey outside of a home in the 3200 block of McVicar Avenue regarding an unrelated case at about 11:05 a.m.
A consent search allegedly revealed Geesey possessed two syringes and three plastic bags with white residue. She was taken into custody without incident.
Sex offender warrant
On Dec. 1, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Kyle Michael Morgan, 33, of Lake Havasu City on a felony sex offender registration violation warrant issued by Mohave County Superior Court.
Morgan was taken into custody after he arrived at the sheriff's office in Kingman to update his registration.
