KINGMAN - Officers with the Arizona Game and Fish department seek the public's help in identifying the person or persons who poached a mule deer doe and fawn near Valentine, roughly 30 miles northeast of Kingman in Game Management Unit 18A.
Both deer were shot twice and left to waste Dec. 2.
A reward of up to $1,000 is on the table.
"Evidence was collected at the scene, but help from the public will play a critical role in finding those responsible," said wildlife manager Justin Winter. "This is not the act of a hunter. Poaching is a crime."
