Felony DUIs, thefts top list of indictments

KINGMAN - DUIs, drug sales and theft cases dominated the attention of the Mohave County Grand Jury Thursday.

It must be that time of year.

The most serious counts were filed against Logan Daniel Stearns and Brandon John Slay, who between them face 13 counts of first-degree trafficking in stolen property or organized retail theft. Stearns was indicted on eight counts and Slay on five in one case and two in a second indictment, including unlawful removal of a theft detection device.

Slay in a third indictment faces counts of second-degree burglary and misdemeanor criminal damage by domestic violence.

Judge Steven Conn will arraign both men at 8:30 a.m. Monday.

The grand jury also indicted:

• Jandi Lynn Archibald: Two counts of forgery and two counts of misdemeanor theft.

Judge Lee Jantzen will arraign her at 8:30 a.m. Dec. 29.

• Robert James Bernardino: Fraudulent schemes and artifices and theft.

Judge Billy Sipe will arraign him at 8:30 a.m. Thursday.

• Jason Patrick Taranto: Possession of methamphetamine for sale, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful flight from law enforcement.

Conn will arraign him at 8:30 a.m. Monday.

• Brian Matthew Sanquist: Aggravated assault and misdemeanor counts of assault, disorderly conduct and criminal damage, all by domestic violence.

Conn will arraign him at 8:30 a.m. Monday.

• Kevin Mason Silverman: Fraudulent schemes and artifices and theft.

Sipe will arraign him at 8:30 a.m. Monday.

• Tim Len Babb (two indictments): Third-degree burglary and misdemeanor theft. Second indictment: Two counts of third-degree burglary and felony theft.

Jantzen will arraign him at 8:30 a.m. Dec. 29.

• Brandy Leigh Jimerson: Two counts of credit card theft.

Sipe will arraign her at 8:30 a.m. Thursday.

• Philip Steven Damore: Criminal damage and two counts of misdemeanor DUI.

Sipe will arraign him at 8:30 a.m. Thursday.

• Linda Jeanette Herrera-Paredes: Two counts of aggravated DUI with a minor present.

Conn will arraign her at 8:30 a.m. Monday.

• Johnny Manuel Duran II: Transportation of methamphetamine for sale and possession of drug paraphernalia.]

Sipe will arraign him at 8:30 a.m. Thursday.

• Guillermo Xavier Garcia: Transportation of marijuana for sale (more than two pounds) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sipe will arraign him at 8:30 a.m. Thursday.

• Denzel Lavone Stein: Transportation of marijuana for sale (more than two pounds) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sipe will arraign him at 8:30 a.m. Thursday.

• Carlos Corbett-Arrondo: Possession of narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor dumping trash on highway.

Sipe will arraign him at 8:30 a.m. Thursday.

• George Alexander Sun: Aggravated assault by domestic violence.

Sipe will arraign him at 8:30 a.m. Thursday.

• Lori Ann Cameron: First-degree criminal damage.

Sipe will arraign her at 8:30 a.m. Thursday.

• Alma Rose Para: Possession of methamphetamine for sale, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and promoting prison contraband.

Conn will arraign her at 8:30 a.m. Thursday.

• Mark Edmund Barber: Possession of methamphetamine, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

Jantzen will arraign him at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 30.

• Frances Felicia Munoz-Chavez: Four counts of aggravated assault.

Sipe will arraign her at 8:30 a.m. Thursday.

• Kristi Sue Mulligan: Aggravated DUI.

Jantzen will arraign her at 8:30 a.m. Dec. 28.
