Mohave 911: Suspected fugitive Lanigan captured

On Jan. 30, Kingman Police officers arrested Lyle Michael Lanigan, 42, of Kingman, on a felony fugitive from justice warrant issued by the United States Marshals Service.

Officers responded to a disturbance in the area of Stockton Hill Road and Hope Avenue and contacted the suspect, Lanigan, at about 1:40 p.m.

A record check revealed the warrant and he was taken into custody without incident.

Man accused of not paying child support

On Jan. 30, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Charles Wayne McDaniel Jr., 57, of Kingman on a felony nonpayment of child support warrant issued by Mohave County Superior Court.

Deputies made contact with McDaniel in the 5000 block of Grossman Road regarding an unrelated incident at about 10:45 p.m.

A record check revealed the warrant and McDaniel was taken into custody without incident.

White crystal substance seized during arrest

On Jan. 31, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Jeffery James Huggins, 42, of Kingman on felony charges of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, along with a misdemeanor charge of driving on a suspended license.

Deputies stopped Huggins on Thompson Avenue and Norrie Drive at about 1:35 a.m.

A record check revealed the suspended license.

An inventory search of the vehicle allegedly revealed a glass pipe with residue and two plastic bags containing a white crystal substance.

He was taken into custody without incident.

Gardner arrested on Las Vegas warrant

On Jan. 31, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Shay Brooke Gardner, 25, of Golden Valley on a felony fugitive from justice warrant issued my Las Vegas City Court.

Deputies responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 3000 block of Golconda Road at about 2:30 a.m.

Gardner was one of two people standing near the vehicle. A record check revealed the warrant and she was taken into custody without incident.

Shoplifting leads to drug charges

On Jan. 31, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Colleen O'Shea, 29, of Kingman on felony charges of possession of dangerous drugs, possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia, along with a misdemeanor shoplifting and two misdemeanor warrants issued by Kingman Municipal Court.

Deputies responded to a store in the 2900 block of Northern Avenue regarding an incidence of shoplifting at about 3:20 p.m.

A consent search of O'Shea's purse allegedly revealed an unopened package of lip gloss. She said the item must have accidentally fallen into her purse, according to Mohave County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Trish Carter.

A record check revealed the warrants and an additional search of her purse allegedly revealed a pen casing with black residue, a syringe, a cut straw, pills identified as dangerous drugs and pills identified as narcotics.

She was taken into custody without incident.

Stumbler arrested

On Feb. 3, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Tyler Austin Martin, 18, of Kingman on felony charges of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of narcotics, and a misdemeanor failure to appear warrant issued by Bullhead City Municipal Court.

Deputies responded to the area of Castle Rock Road and Swan Drive regarding a call of a man stumbling and walking into traffic at about 11:55 a.m.

Deputies contacted Martin and a record check revealed the warrant. A search allegedly revealed he possessed pills determined to be dangerous drugs and pills determined to be narcotics.

He was taken into custody without incident.
