Kayla Dayle Freeman, born April 20, 1994, departed our world on Dec. 30, 2014. A beloved daughter, sister and friend, she was a bright smile and a sweet giggle in our lives ... someone who craved adventure, but also enjoyed the simple things in life. With sincerity and zest, she lived, loved and laughed her way into many hearts. Forever Kayla, you will remain there.
She is survived by the broken hearts of her mother, Kirensa Thompson, and sister, Dayna Freeman; aunts Megan and Rachel, cousin Suzzonnah, grandpa Jim Morse; her father, Dana Freeman; many Freeman aunts and cousins; her great-uncles, Larry and Howard Thompson; and extended family, Aunt Mandy McLean, Kodey Ward Dye, and Kaydra Dye. She joins in Heaven her great grandmother, Lillie Dale Thompson, and her grandmother, Kathy Sue Morse, along with some of her favorite lost pets, Maggie, Copper and Ruben.
A memorial will be held in Kayla's honor from 5-8 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015, at Centennial Park, under the lights of Ramada No. 1. All are welcome to come share memories and celebrate Kayla's life.
