Dan Kuch finishes first Saturday morning in the Low Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic's first "Mangy Mutt" Race at White Cliffs Middle School. About 80 people participated in event, which featured 5K and 10K runs, a walk/run, and a 30-mile bicycle race. Money raised goes to the Low Cost Spay/Neuter Foundation, which works on projects such as the TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) program for stray cats. The next such project will be held in the Butler area on March 14th and the goal is to spay or neuter at least 100 feral cats in known colonies. For more information, call the Fix the Feral Cats hotline at 928-224-8376.
