Letter: Do our enemies want peace?

Maybe I'm missing something here. Is the enemy in Afghanistan any different from the enemy in Iran, Syria, Egypt, Libya, and a half-dozen other countries around the world with terrorists ready, willing and able to give their lives to kill anyone from the west or the U.S. for the cause of radical Islam?

Is today any different from yesterday, in that our enemy still wishes you and I converted to Islam or dead?

I have yet to see the white flag flying over any of the countries we have helped or abandoned at our proclamation of peace.

Isn't it true that these are the same Islamic radicals trying to turn Great Britain, Europe and the United States into an Islamic Caliphate?

Of course we all wish for the body bags to stop coming home and peace throughout the world. Is that what our enemies wish for?
