From left, Santa's Elves Bob Black and Gary Juneau, along with Cherie DaLynn, Santa's Helper Chris Marie, and sanctuary's mascots Houla (left) and Eight Ball, stand next to donated cat and dog food. Golden Valley residents Chris Marie and Butch Meriwether gathered the donations during their annual Christmas fundraiser to benefit For The Luv Of Paws, the domestic animal rescue and sanctuary. More than 1,540 pounds of cat and dog food and $1,019 was turned over to founder and president DaLynn, who established the facility for domestic animals that had been neglected, abused and abandoned in Mohave County. For information about the facility located approximately 25 miles southwest of Kingman on 10 acres of land on Oatman Highway or to adopt a loving pet, better referred to as a new family member, call the sanctuary at (928) 897-7304.
