Ruth J. Malloy passed away peacefully in her sleep at Kingman Regional Medical Center on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015, at 11:11 p.m. When her time came, she was surrounded by her loved ones.
Ruth lives on through her three daughters, Eileen Barlow, Nancy Alvino-Malloy and Patricia Butts, and her eight grandchildren, including Phil and Mickey Barlow, Jamie and Samantha Alvino and Lauren Butts.
Ruth was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on Sept. 2, 1930, as Ruth Fraundorf. She married World War II vet George Malloy and had four children. After her children were grown and her husband passed, Ruth moved to Kingman in 1982.
For over 15 years she worked at the Mohave County Recorder's Office before retiring in 2001. Sewing was Ruth's favorite hobby. She also had a love for German Shepherds, collecting and framing cherished memories of her family, riding her bike and rollerblading well into her 70s.
Join Ruth's family in their final goodbyes by opening your hearts and letting the love in at Mountain View Cemetery at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 30, in the center garden.
