KINGMAN - If you want to know what the Arizona Game and Fish Department is planning to do with the Spring 2016 draws, you'll want to attend a public meeting at the Region 3 office from 4-7 p.m. Thursday.
The department is holding an open house for sportsmen to look at proposed hunt recommendations for webbed migratory birds and spring hunts for turkey, javelina, buffalo and bear.
In a prepared statement, the department states that recommendations will be made to the commission regarding the management of game species, which then establishes the season, dates, bag limits, open areas and permit-tag allocations.
After all of the comments have been received, the commission will act on them at the regular commission meeting Aug. 7-8 in Flagstaff.
The Region 3 office is located at 5325 N. Stockton Hill Road.
