KINGMAN - The Kingman man who allegedly shot up an empty convenience store in the early morning hours May 22 was indicted Thursday on weapons and drug charges.

Victor Salvatore Tramaglino, 34, was taken into to custody after Kingman Police officers responded to a panic alarm at the Canada Mart convenience store in the 200 block of Andy Devine Avenue at about 4:50 a.m.

Tramaglino, who was reportedly staying in a studio apartment on the property, initially refused to open the door for officers.

When he did, he allegedly told them he was shooting at someone in the store. Police did not find anyone else in the market, which was closed at the time, but they say they did find evidence that Tramaglino sprayed bullets throughout the store, with spent casings and live rounds scattered everywhere. Tramaglino, a felon who is prohibited from possessing firearms, apparently was wearing some type of body armor.

The Mohave County Grand Jury indicted him on five felony counts, but not for being a prohibited possessor. Tramaglino was convicted of unlawful imprisonment in 2008 and served 11 months of an 18-month prison sentence.

He reportedly kidnapped an estranged girlfriend from a house party and brought her to his place of business, when the woman escaped and ran to a home, where police were summoned.
