Jimbo was born in Buckeye, Ariz., on Jan. 9, 1942. He passed away at home on June 14.
He is survived by one daughter, Jackie Stewart of Kingman, and two sons, Aaron and Paul Adkins of Mesa. He also has 13 grandchildren, two sisters, Susie Gatineau and Margie (John) Lapierre, and two brothers, Jesse (Roxanne) Maynard, Johnny (Kathy) Maynard, all of Kingman.
He is preceded in death by his son, Harold J. Adkins Jr., his father and mother, J.P. & Maude Maynard, two brothers, Jerry Adkins, Billy J. Maynard and one sister, Janie Plott.
He spent his whole life here in Kingman. He was a truck driver working for a construction company, Campbell Redi-Mix and Desert Construction.
Services will be at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 20, followed by burial at Mountain View Cemetery.
There will be a potluck at the Eagles, 4536 Patsy Drive following services.
